The Real LOVE

In a classroom there were several kids, when one of them asked the teacher:

- Teacher, what is LOVE ?

The teacher felt the kid deserved the best answer she could give to that intelligent question. Since it was almost time for a break, she asked every student to go around the school and come back with something that would bring the feeling of love. Also she assured the student who will bring the best will get "A+" Grade.

The kids rushed out the classroom, and when they came back the teacher said:

- So, I want everybody to show what you brought to the whole class.


The first kid said:

- I brought this FLOWER, isn't it beautiful ?


The second kid said:

- I brought this BUTTERFLY. Look at these colorful wings, I am gonna put it in my collection !


The third kid said:

- I brought this YOUNG BIRD. It had fallen with another one from the nest. Isn't it cute ?

And the kids were showing what they brought.

After almost everybody had showed their discoveries, the teacher noticed that there was a kid who had been quiet all the time. She was ashamed because she had not brought anything.The teacher went to her and asked:

- My dear, why haven't you brought anything ?

She then answered in an innocent voice:

- I am sorry teacher. I saw the FLOWER, and felt its perfume. I was going to take it, but I preferred to leave it so its perfume would last longer and others could feel it. I also saw the BUTTERFLY, soft, colorful..she seemed so happy that I did not want to disturb it. I also saw the YOUNG BIRD that had fallen between the leafs, but as I climbed the tree, I noticed the sad look of it's mother, so I decided to return it to the nest. Therefore, I only bring with me: the perfume of the flower, the feeling of liberty of the butterfly and the gratefulness of the look of the little bird's mother. How can I show you what I brought?
The teacher thanked the young kid and gave her an "A+ Grade", because she was the only one that realized that we can only bring LOVE in our hearts without really possessing the object...

Study tips

Following tips can be useful and help to study effectively.

1. Do not engage in sport or tire yourself before you sit either for a test or a study period. You should be relaxed before you engage in the task which requires thinking, concentration etc.

2. Ensure that you are not hungry, sleepy, tired, thirsty and don’t need to go to the toilet before you sit to study or give a test. This will make sure that there are no unnecessary interruptions.

3. If you experience that while studying your mind is occupied by various thoughts, you can write whatever comes to your mind before you actually sit for study. This will help you to clear your mind of the thoughts and thus increase concentration. You may tear off the page after you have released the thoughts.

4. Eat brain foods before you study or when you take a break during your study. Bananas, dry fruits, chocolates (in moderation) helps the brain to stay awake.

5. In the break time, you can listen to music which relaxes your mind and body. In music stores, CDs of relaxation music are available.

6. Graphic organizers are semantic maps which offer a visual representation of ideas. When students organize and design these maps, they apply important analytical skills as they think about how ideas are inter-related.

Time management

Managing your time effectively is an important part of studying. One common mistake is to try to create an overly restrictive schedule which doesn't work, and then feel very guilty that it doesn't work. Telling yourself that scheduling just doesn't work for you is another common mistake.

The following list will guide you through time management.

Schedule - Have a regular study time and place each day - This helps put you in study mode. It's what Pavlov did with his dogs. ("Good doggy. Now study! Studyyy...")

Prioritize - Make a list of what you have to do and list it in order of importance. Schedule the important stuff first.

Plan your sessions - Do the difficult stuff first. That way, by the time you can barely add 1 to 1, that's all you have left to do.

Prepare - Get everything you'll need together BEFORE you start studying.

Take breaks - Don't study longer than 50 minutes at a stretch. Use the other ten for a run around the block, or eat a snack. Hmm... Maybe run around the block AFTER the snack. Taking a 5-minute hot shower is another excellent solution.

Avoid getting stuck - If you can't figure something out, skip it, and get help later. Skipping everything is not allowed.

Divide and conquer - Break your projects up into smaller bits, and complete those bits one by one.

Set Milestones – Setting milestones help to manage the time and task better. You can also set rewards for reaching those milestones.

Reward yourself - The reward can be small, like treating yourself to some ice cream, or larger, like buying that new outfit you've had your eye on. Rewards also don't have to cost money, like going to play some basketball with some friends at the park. Enjoy yourself when you pass a milestone, stick to your reward plans to make them more worth reaching.

Use your time wisely - Use the days for tough activities like studying, and evenings for easier stuff like reviewing. On second thought, better schedule the latter during the day as well.

Review regularly – Regular reviewing benefits taking stock of the work done. We have said this before. It's important. Better read it again.

മുക്കുവപ്പിള്ളേരു മുങ്ങിയെടുത്തു
തട്ടാപ്പിള്ളേരു തട്ടിയെടുത്തു’

ഈ നാലുവരി കവിത പണ്ടായതുകൊണ്ട് കവിതയായി. മുപ്പത്തിമുക്കോടി ചാനലുകളിലായി അതിന്റെ അനേകം അനേകം മടങ്ങു ന്യൂസ് ഷോകള്‍ ഉള്ള ഇക്കാലത്തായിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ ഇത് എന്തായേനെ ? കുറഞ്ഞത് ഒരാഴ്ചയെങ്കിലും ന്യൂസ് റൂമുകളെ തല്‍സമയ ചര്‍ച്ചകള്‍ കൊണ്ട് സജീവമാക്കിയേനെ. കേരളം മുള്‍മുനയില്‍ നിന്നേനെ. ജനങ്ങള്‍ ന്യൂസ് ചാനലുകള്‍ക്കു മുന്നില്‍ ഉദ്വേഗപൂര്‍വം കാത്തിരുന്നേനെ. അപ്പോള്‍ തണുത്ത ന്യൂസ് റൂമിലെ ന്യൂസ് ഡസ്കില്‍ ചെരിഞ്ഞു കിടന്നു വാര്‍ത്ത അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ന്യൂസേഷ് കുമാര്‍ ഞെട്ടിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഈ വാര്‍ത്ത ഇങ്ങനെ തുടങ്ങിയേനെ:-

നമസ്കാരം, പ്രധാനവാര്‍ത്തകള്‍. (ഹൈപിച്ചില്‍) അയ്യപ്പന്റെ അമ്മ നെയ്യപ്പം ചുട്ടു, കാക്ക കൊത്തി കടലിലിട്ടു (മ്യൂസിക്), കടലില്‍ വീണ നെയ്യപ്പം മുക്കുവപ്പിള്ളേരു മുങ്ങിയെടുത്തു, തട്ടാപ്പിള്ളേരു തട്ടിയെടുത്തു(മ്യൂസിക് മെല്ലെ അടങ്ങുന്നു)

കരിഷ്മ:- ന്യൂസേഷ്, അയ്യപ്പന്‍ എന്നൊരാളുടെ അമ്മ ഇന്ന് നെയ്യപ്പം ചുടുകയുണ്ടായി, നെയ്യപ്പം ചുട്ടശേഷം ഒരു കാക്ക ആ നെയ്യപ്പം കൊത്തിക്കൊണ്ടുപോയി കടലിടുകയായിരുന്നു, തുടര്‍ന്ന് ആ നെയ്യപ്പം മുക്കുവപ്പിള്ളേര് മുങ്ങിയെടുക്കുമ്പോള്‍ തട്ടാപ്പിള്ളേര് അത് തട്ടിയെടുക്കുകയായിരുന്നു, ന്യുസേഷ്..

ന്യൂസേഷ്:- ഇപ്പോള്‍ അവിടുത്തെ സ്ഥിതി എന്താണ് ? നെയ്യപ്പം ഇപ്പോള്‍ ആരുടെ കയ്യിലാണ് ? അയ്യപ്പന്‍ അവിടെയുണ്ടോ ? അയ്യപ്പന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ പ്രതികരണം ലഭ്യമായിട്ടുണ്ടോ ? പോലീസ് സ്ഥലത്തു ക്യാംപു ചെയ്യുന്നുണ്ടോ ? ഒരു ലാത്തിചാര്‍ജിനു സാധ്യതയുണ്ടോ ? ആരൊക്കെയാണ് സ്ഥലത്തുള്ളത് ?… കരിഷ്മ..

കരിഷ്മ: ന്യൂസേഷ്.. ഞാനിപ്പോള്‍ കടല്‍ക്കരയിലാണ് നില്‍ക്കുന്നത,് തീരത്ത് വിശ്രമിക്കാനെത്തിയ സഞ്ചാരികളെ മാത്രമേ ഇവിടെ കാണാനുള്ളൂ, സത്യത്തില്‍ ഇത്ര ഭയങ്കരമായ സംഭവം നടന്ന ഒരു കടല്‍ക്കരയാണോ ഇതെന്നു സംശയം തോന്നിപ്പോകും വിധം ശാന്തമാണിവിടം.. പോലീസുകാരൊന്നും സ്ഥലത്തെത്തിയിട്ടില്ല.. ഇന്നു രാവിലെയാണ് അയ്യപ്പന്‍ എന്നയാളിന്റെ അമ്മ ചുട്ട നെയ്യപ്പം കാക്ക കൊത്തി കടലിലിട്ടത്.. കടലിലിട്ട നെയ്യപ്പം മുങ്ങിയെടുത്ത മുക്കുവപ്പിള്ളേരുടെ കയ്യില്‍ നിന്ന് തട്ടാപ്പിള്ളേര് അത് തട്ടിയെടുക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.. ന്യൂസേഷ്..

നെയ്യപ്പം കാക്ക കൊത്തിയ സംഭവത്തില്‍ ദുരൂഹതയുണ്ടെന്നും ഇത് സിബിഐയെക്കൊണ്ടന്വേഷിപ്പിക്കണമെന്നും അയ്യപ്പന്റെ ബന്ധുക്കള്‍ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. അതുപോലെ തന്നെ ആര്‍ക്കു വേണ്ടിയാണ് നെയ്യപ്പം ഉണ്ടാക്കിയതെന്ന കാര്യത്തിലും അവ്യക്തത നിലനില്‍ക്കുന്നുണ്ട്, കടല്‍ പൊതുവേ ശാന്തമാണ്, നെയ്യപ്പത്തിന്റെ അവശിഷ്ടങ്ങളൊന്നും കാണാനില്ല.. ന്യൂസേഷ്..

(കുട്ടപ്പന്‍ ഏ, ആ എന്നൊക്കെ വയ്ക്കുന്നു) ശ്രീ കുട്ടപ്പന്‍.. അയ്യപ്പന്റെ അമ്മ ചുട്ട നെയ്യപ്പം കാക്ക കൊത്തി കടലിലിട്ടു, അതു പിന്നീട് മുക്കുവപ്പിള്ളേരു മുങ്ങിയെടുത്തു, അവരുടെ കയ്യില്‍ നിന്നു തട്ടാപ്പിള്ളേരു തട്ടിയെടുത്തു, എന്താണ് സത്യത്തില്‍ സംഭവിച്ചത് ?

കുട്ടപ്പന്‍:- അതിപ്പോ, ഞാന്‍ സ്ഥലത്തുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല… എനിക്കീ മാര്‍ബിളിന്റെ പണിയാണേ.. രാവിലെ പണിക്കു പോയിട്ട് വന്നപ്പോഴാണ് കാര്യങ്ങളറിഞ്ഞത്..കവലേല്‍ ആളുകള് പറഞ്ഞുകേട്ടതേ എനിക്കറിയത്തൊള്ളൂ.. അയ്യപ്പന്റെ അമ്മായി ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ ഉണ്ണിയപ്പം പ്രാവ് കൊത്തി കുളത്തിലിട്ടതാണ് പ്രശ്നമായതെന്നാണ് എനിക്കു തോന്നുന്നത്…

ന്യൂസേഷ്:- കുട്ടപ്പന്‍, ശ്രീ കുട്ടപ്പന്‍.. കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ പിന്നെയും കുഴഞ്ഞുമറിയുകയാണ്.. അയ്യപ്പന്റെ അമ്മ ചുട്ട നെയ്യപ്പം കാക്ക കൊത്തി കടലിലിട്ടു, മുക്കുവപ്പിള്ളേര് അതു മുങ്ങിയെടുത്തു, തട്ടാപ്പിള്ളേരു തട്ടിയെടുത്തു.. ഇത്രയുമാണ് ഇതുവരെയുള്ള വിവരങ്ങള്‍.. അതിനിടയില്‍ അയ്യപ്പന്റെ അമ്മായി, ഉണ്ണിയപ്പം, പ്രാവ് ? എന്തൊക്കെയാണ് അവിടെ നടക്കുന്നത് ? അയ്യപ്പന്‍ കുട്ടപ്പന്റെ അയല്‍വാസിയല്ലേ ? സംഭവത്തിനു ശേഷം അയ്യപ്പനെ കാണാന്‍ ശ്രമിച്ചോ ? എന്താണ് പ്രതികരണം ?

കുട്ടപ്പന്‍:- അയ്യപ്പന്‍ ഇവിടെ എവിടെയോ ആണെന്നു പറഞ്ഞു കേട്ടിട്ടേയുള്ളൂ, ഞാനിതുവരെ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല..

ന്യൂസേഷ്:- കുട്ടപ്പനിലേക്കു ഞാന്‍ തിരിച്ചുവരാം.. ഇപ്പോള്‍ തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് നിന്നു ബിജു ഒപ്പം ഡല്‍ഹി സ്റ്റുഡിയോയില്‍ നിന്ന് സുരേഷ് നമ്മോടൊപ്പം ചേരുന്നു.. ബിജു, അയ്യപ്പന്റെ അമ്മ നെയ്യപ്പം ചുട്ട സംഭവത്തില്‍ തലസ്ഥാനത്ത് എന്താണ് പ്രതികരണങ്ങള്‍ ?

ബിജു:- ന്യുസേഷ്, അയ്യപ്പന്റെ അമ്മ ചുട്ട നെയ്യപ്പം ഒരു കാക്ക കൊത്തിയതില്‍ പ്രതിഷേധിച്ച് വിവിധ സംഘടനകളുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ സെക്രട്ടറിയേറ്റ് മാര്‍ച്ച് നടക്കുകയാണ്.. അയ്യപ്പന്റെ അമ്മയായതുകൊണ്ട് പ്രശ്നത്തില്‍ ശബരിമല ദേവസ്വം ഇടപെടണമെന്നും ആവശ്യമുയര്‍ന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. അതേ സമയം, മുക്കുവ-തട്ടാന്‍ സമുദായക്കാരെ പ്രശ്നത്തിലേക്ക് അനാവശ്യമായി വലിച്ചിഴയ്ക്കുകയാണെന്നും അയ്യപ്പന്റെ അമ്മ നെയ്യപ്പം കടലിലേക്കു സ്വയം വലിച്ചെറിഞ്ഞതാവാനേ വഴിയുള്ളൂ എന്നുമൊക്കെ വിവിധ വാദങ്ങളുയരുന്നുണ്ട്.. അതുപോലെ തന്നെ ഇങ്ങനൊരു അയ്യപ്പനെയോ അമ്മയെയോ ആരും കണ്ടിട്ടില്ലെന്നും അതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ സംഭവം പൂര്‍ണമായും മാധ്യമസൃഷ്ടിയാണെന്നുമുള്ള നിലപാടില്‍ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ഉറച്ചുനില്‍ക്കുകയാണ്… സംഭവത്തില്‍ പ്രതിഷേധിച്ച് നാളെ ഹര്‍ത്താലാചരിക്കാന്‍ ഓള്‍ കേരള നെയപ്പം ആന്‍ഡ് ഉണ്ണിയപ്പം മാനുഫാക്ചറേഴ്സ് അസോസിയേഷന്‍ ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്…
